Hunting with Okatoie Safaris & Tours is a way of managing game populations in a sustainable way through controlled hunts. Following the concept of the Campfire Association Zimbabwes that is working in cooperation with Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), each Hunt eXperience benefits the local communities through trophy fees for financial independence. Part of the income earned through hunters daily rates is invested back in developing the farms in terms of drilling new boreholes, maintaining roads, fire guards and implementing self-help financial projects like irrigation as well as the existing lodge facilities and staff remuneration.
